AGR targeted, developed, funded, and built two co-located solar parks with a combined installed capacity of 45MW in Green End, UK, in 2015. The project benefited from the Renewable Obligation Certificates subsidy regime which effectively provided 50% of the project income, index linked, over a 20-year period. AGR led the development process and teamed up with the German contractor and panel manufacturer Q-Cells to co-fund the delivery of the project.The asset was sold to Q-Cells’ parent company Hanwha of South Korea, who subsequently sold the asset to Next Energy in 2018.
