Archaeological Investigation Works Underway at Wymondley Solar Farm

AGR Solar 4 Limited is pleased to announce the commencement of archaeological investigation works at its Wymondley Solar Farm site. These investigations are being carried out in accordance with the latest Archaeological Written Scheme of Investigation as agreed with Hertfordshire County Council and are required by the pre-commencement planning condition in preparation for construction, which is scheduled to begin in Spring next year. The work involves a team of skilled archaeologists & machine operators. The purpose of these investigations is to identify and inform decisions regarding the preservation of any archaeological features of significance.

The project began in December and is expected to conclude by the end of January.
